Made up my mind.

Finally I made up my mind to get the TS-7250 Arm based SBC from Technologic Systems. Link to the board : http://www.embeddedarm.com/epc/ts7250-spec-h.html

I liked some of the features this board offered like 32MB Flash and 32MB SDRAM as well as two com ports (in case I fry one ;) , an ethernet port, couple of usb ports. It doesn’t have CF card or SD card slots to add additional storage but 32MB is quite big for all what I will be doing with this board. Worst case, I could add a USB key to it and use it some how or that is what the plan is right now. Read more »

This is my first post on osembedded.com. The idea behind this website is to document the learning process I go through while working on various hobby embedded projects. Initially, I plan to work on an ARM based SBC (Single Board Computer) and learn a bit about installing, configuring and running (embedded) linux on it. Read more »
