One step at a time…

Getting one step closer… I soldered the components onto the board and the first thing I tested was the simple Graphical LCD module. Well, it didn’t work right away. Thanks to Eagle Layout… the power supply pin of the LCD that was supposed to be connected to +5V was left unconnected. Why am I blaming Eagle Layout rather than a newbie mistake? Yoohoo! PCBs have arrived!!

Well, I couldn’t wait to post this online. I got the PCBs I have been so dearly waiting for after roughly 20 days as promised. Thanks to BatchPCB for all the great work they are doing. Total cost was close to 40bucks for 2 PCBs with solder mask and silkscreen. A great bargain for prototyping! Read more »
